Student Tom Arckay with one of the many beautiful
Rainbows caught during the class.
"Shannon, I just wanted to thank you for the most incredible Colorado fishing experience. My son gave me a gift certificate from Hook Flyfishing for Father’s Day and it motivated me to get some proper training. I have made attempts to fly fish for the last 10+ years. However, my lack of knowledge and skills quickly led to frustration and only sporadic outings. After our first class, I left feeling empowered with knowledge, but downright insecure on how to apply and execute it. The next day on the water you put in all together for me. What a difference a lesson makes! The photographs of our catch say it all. I appreciate your patience and knowledge. I have some work to do on my bad habits, but I now know what to work on. Moreover, your lessons on reading the water, light, positioning, proper flies and emergers and casting have put the fun back in fly fishing. I am looking forward to spending much more time on the water this year and years to come."
"Thanks again for sharing your expertise,
I've been Hooked by Hook Flyfishing!",
Tom
