Wet a Line Friday II

Yea, after I heard that the "Pan" was on I had to find out first hand. 3 hours on I-70 and 1/2 hour on some other road, and 1/2 hour up Frying Pan Canyon I arrived . 9 am and the parking lot resembled something more like that of Wall-Mart the day after Thanksgiving . I could not believe all the cars. The toilet bowl had 5 people in it, the flats looked like there was 10 people, well you get the idea a lot of anglers! Yes it was that good. A great day on the water. I started with a Slupbuster first thing, and finished my evening with the same. When it warmed up a bit I was using Scuds,Mysis,Pheasant Tails, JuJuBe midges, BWO emerger, Black Beauties,Red Midges,. just about everything was working well on a good dead drift. I sill love to use streamers the most, they say 'The tug is the drug'I agree! Fishing early and late with the Slumpbuster was awesome . I spent most of the day below the flats, and below the gauging station, lot of great water and fewer people. I'd say the long drive was well worth it. The fishing was fantastic!
Wet A Line!!
