FLY FISHING 201

An advanced class on the art of Fly Fishing.

Dig deeper and learn some of the most highly effective advanced tactics for targeting trout in Rocky Mountain waters. This class includes extensive casting instruction both on and off the water.  Discussion of entomology for fly selection and rigging.  The Guide/Instructors will discuss and teach the advanced tactics and strategies that have led them to become professional anglers.

In addition to lunch, rod, reel, line, leaders & tippet, waders and wading boots, flies, tools, terminal tackle, polarized sunglasses, a hat and sunblock, students must have, in their possession, a valid Colorado Fishing License.

 
Fly Fishing 201 with Rim Chung

Curriculum: The focus in Fly Fishing 201 is on nymphing & streamer techniques.

Tution: $149-on public water
You will need to bring a sack lunch and beverages and be able to drive to the appropriate waters. Private water is an option that can be added.

 

Pre-Requisites: Students with some existing knowledge of and experience with fly fishing will benefit the most from this class and must be at least 12 years old.

Duration: A full day on the water
